Wingsong

On!

Heart beat

Wing beat

Drum beat

                   On!

Baja's coast or Tipi woods,

Silent cabin born of trees,

Pacific waves crash the leaves

Solemn oaks doddered hands that reach cones of pines,

Ocean grains of sand to lose so choose - -

On!

Heart beat

Wing beat

Drum beat

                   On!

To give life forget death-dreams,

Life-dreams to birth our yearnings in the greenwood's meeting,

Shared breaths in the forests blazing own,

Summoned fires consume the night,

Summer stars in harvest starve our love,

Though love is deeper in nests feathered,

Love in clams is the harvest sand,

Chosen desires for hearts wrested, restless, saving,

Far and near this home is earth is celestial,

Loose as a river in mountain breaks,

Rocks the spirit in hearts' beginning,

All meaning is know that beats together - -

On!

Heart beat

Wing beat

Drum beat

                   On!

On!

Heart beat

Wing beat

Drum beat......!!!
