In Between Seas | Poem

In Between Seas

I listen to the big city
Splashing its tale in the ocean
Of heraldic blue.
Waves of bricks water my legs
And I think I should slap
The face of my loneliness
To make it soft, like silk.
You lead me on
To the depths of my spirit
Making me choose
My own priorities
Until I see myself growing
To realize you exist
And wipe away the illusion.
My sleep can’t bear
Such intangible dream
And I shiver
While I decide
To let indecision rest.
