Oh please please
please please please
don’t leave me.
Oh please please
please please please
don’t go.
Don’t go.
The trains,
the trains they roll
They always roll
Oh roll roll
roll roll roll
trains roll
Oh roll roll
roll roll roll
trains roll
The solders they go.
They always go.
They always go.
They go.
They go.
They go.
Oh ring ring ring
ring ring ring freedom ring
Oh ring ring
ring ring ring freedom ring
The train whistle she blows
she blows
she blows
she blows
Oh blow blow
blow blow blow
whistle blow.
Oh blow blow
blow blow blow
whistle blow
Oh please please
please please please
don’t leave me.
Oh please please please
please please
don’t leave me.
David Michael Jackson
I wrote this song in 1999. The songwriter threw in freedom to have some reason I suppose. The song is essentially very very sad and the sacrifice has no real reason. Freedom is a poor excuse for war, especially when it is so poorly defined and so poorly followed. Other countries don’t think of us as free and their opinion if bigger than ours or our ego.
