once I thought I was the universe
and I was
things change
then I thought the world was mine
and it was

then I wanted to live in a house so long
neighbors would start calling it the Peter's place
and they did
things change
for a while I just wanted to stay in one place
long enough
to know where the light switches were
when I entered a dark room
and I did that several times in several places
things change
now I just want a bed to call my own
maybe I should be the universe again
