seeking world peace and personal peace thru poetry

ODE TO KENT STATE
 

they came after him with guns

and he stuck a flower in their nozzle

they burned down his house

and a friend gave him shelter

when they poisoned him to look

like it was a heart attack

the last sentence he wrote was:

"don't forget to water the jasmine"
