Distortion | Poem

Distortion
I felt their eyes
Lying on my back
Like a punishment
For a curious crime
Not even finished yet.
The grotesque experience
Twists my world
Out of shape
Until the absurd
Becomes natural
And the life-like creation
Is misrepresented
In front of the deities.
I turn the grimaces
 Into smiles
To equalize the balance
Between reality and appearance
And put myself
In wave less equilibrium.
