ツイッターで「私の記事をお読みになって悩んでいる方がいらっしゃいます」とのご指摘をいただき、拝見させていただきましたまず、右脇に関してですが、「脇をつける」と「脇をしめる」は全く次元が違います。実際にはしめるという表現も使用したくありませんでしたが、字数の関係でしめるを用いました。右肘の角度は左腕の長さが変わらない以上、本来意識するものではありません。左腕のポジションが身体から離れれば（アップライト）、右肘は伸びますし、近づけば（フラット）右肘は曲がります。テークバックにおいて腕の稼動はあまりありません。クラブの惰性を用いたコッキングと肩甲骨のスライドで発生する両腕のローテーションのみです。胴体には回転する関節は存在しませんので、骨盤が回転しない限り、身体は回りません。なのに多くの方は下半身を固定してバックスイングをしますので、腕でクラブを担ぎ上げる動きになります。そこで左肘を真っ直ぐにキープしようとすると右肘が外に向くフライングエルボーと言われる形になります。腕でクラブを担ぎ上げ、後から身体を回すと100％クロストップになります。クラブを腕で担ぎ上げているわけですから、ダウンスイングでクラブヘッドはボール方向ではなく地面に向かいます。それを身体を反らしてクラブヘッドの進行方向をボールに戻すため、クラブが寝てしまい、ローテーションできなくなったクラブヘッドを左腰をインパクトで引きながら、手を捻り返すことでヘッドを巻き込み、フックになるという流れです。クロスはこのほかにテークバックでインサイドに上げすぎること、右膝が伸びきってしまい、重心が左に倒れることによっても起こります。上半身だけが原因ではありません。結論を申しますと、右脇は意識から完全に外してください。敢えて意識するなら左脇の締まりを。クロスは原因さえつかめれば一発で直ります。チェックしてみてください自覚症状に当てはめてみても、まさにおっしゃる通り!!しかも、「テークバックでインサイドに上げすぎること、右膝が伸びきって重心が左に倒れることによっても起こります」まで、見事に当てはまっています皆さんから頂いた書き込みのなかでも結構あった意見が、「右サイドの過剰意識」。ボクの場合、どうしても「右脇があくこと」「シャフトクロス」があるため、過剰に右サイドを意識しているのは間違いなく事実ですね中井コーチのアドバイスにもあるとおり、右脇を意識から完全に外すくらいでやってみます余談ですが、実は中井コーチには何度かお会いしています。ここ最近では、ボディメトリクスで紙面取材のアレンジをした際に交わした中井コーチの言葉を紹介したりもしていました。メールをお送りしてご挨拶させていただきましたが、取材であったボクとゴルフ体験主義のKAZがイコールになっていなかったようです。って、あたりまえか！
